The PARALLEX eToken is a mobile application designed to generate One Time Passwords (OTPs) for the secure verification of electronic transactions. An OTP is a unique, automatically generated string of characters that confirms a user's identity during login or when completing financial activities online.

Electronic transactions, including web and internet banking activities, often require the input of OTPs generated by the PARALLEX eToken app to enhance security.

Activation of the PARALLEX eToken involves the following steps:

• Login to the PARALLEX Token app using your Parallex Online Banking credentials.
• Tap on "Get Started."
• Select "Register Token."
• Enter your account number.
• Choose "Corporate Customer."
• Click on "Register."

The app will then authenticate your mobile device and generate a serial number along with an activation code. You will be prompted to create a 4-digit PIN, which will serve as your secure login credential for using the app.

Once activated, you can access your eToken using your PIN and enjoy continuous online banking services.

Customer Service and Information:

• A one-time fee of N2,500 plus 7.5% VAT applies during the initial activation of your token. This aligns with the Central Bank of Nigeria's regulations.
• Reinstallation or reactivation of the app is free of charge after the initial setup.
